Nollywood Producer Arrested For An Alleged Rape In Delta 

A suspected Nigeria movie producer has been arrested for allegedly raping a secondary student in Ughelli North local government area of Delta state.
The suspect who simply gave his identified himself as Prince Morgan was arrested after security agents from Ughelli “A’ division were contacted to rescue him from angry community youths in the area.
It was gathered that the victim, Prince Morgan had gone to one of the secondary schools (name withheld) in Ughelli north metropolis and he met with one of the principals under the disguise of talent hunt to allegedly commit the act.
Speaking to journalists, the principal, who spoke on anonymous condition, “When the man came, he introduced himself and that he came for a talent hunt  directed him to the teacher in charge of literary and dramatic society in the school.
“I told the teacher to interview the man to see what he had and after that the teacher told me all they discussed. After which the man came to the school twice to check and write the names of the students that were interested and they did practice twice and I never heard from him again until last  Friday.
The man came back to our school during assembly period on Monday and, it was after that the students began to narrate their ordeal how the man made them to pay some amount of money.
We as a school was not aware that the money will be paid because the man never told us so, that he came for talent hunt only.
In the process of interrogating the man, youths from the community that got the information came in to take man away that was when I went to the police station to incident the matter and invite the police.
“While the police were taken him to the station, one of the female students began to cry and she revealed that the man raped her.
“From my conversation with the
 student, she told me that the man took her to his place in a nearby Oviri-Ogor  community on a Friday where she was allegedly raped.
While at the Ughelli ‘A’ division, the suspect who gave his name as Godwin Yinbrikeye denied rapping the student.
He said, “I only fined some of them the sum of four thousand naira for their misbehaviour and undisciplined character toward their rehearsal and nothing more.
A security source attached to the Ughelli ‘A’ Division who confirmed the arrest disclosed that investigations are ongoing.
